Relief in Need

Grants are available for the benefit of children, single parent families, the disabled and people who have fallen on hard times for a variety of circumstances beyond their control. Applications are subject to income assessment and will be considered for a variety of reasons including help with clothing, essential household items, medical and mobility equipment.

Grants are not normally approved for the repayment of debts, rent or council tax arrears, nor are rental deposits provided. Grants are not considered unless all statutory benefits are being claimed.

Referrals may be made for household furniture and fittings to the organisation Roundabout for those in need
